A Few Current Thoughts

I was speaking with a client the other day and he said:

"Chad, we got out to our cabin and the power was out. We lit a fire and opened a bottle of wine. The setting made us feel happy and that made us feel wealthy."

We often focus on wealth in terms of our investment account balances, the ups and downs of the stock market, or what the news headlines are saying.

Although the money part of the equation is important, the intangible part is equally important.

The simplest pleasures in life can make you feel the wealthiest.

"It is not the man who has too little,
but the man who craves more, that is poor."

-Seneca
