Chad Dawson, CIM

With the hyper-convenience of modern life and the internet, it’s nice to put a face to a name!

Chad began his investment career in 2004 after successfully completing the Canadian Securities Course. Although his professional career started shortly after, his true passion as an investor began as a teenager. Chad had an early desire to learn and study all things investing.

Chad follows a reasonably passive, long term approach to investing. He believes that a properly diversified portfolio can be achieved using multiple investments including individual securities, ETF’s and mutual funds. Chad likes to focus on investments that aim to provide growth and income, transparency and low cost.

Born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, it was a golf scholarship that led him to a bachelors degree in business finance from Concord University in West Virginia.

Chad currently calls Southwestern Ontario home and manages investments for clients in B.C, Alberta and Ontario.
