How do I set up a My Account with CRA

Before setting up your account you will need the following information.

  1. Date of Birth

  2. Social Insurance Number

  3. Postal Code

  4. Tax returns from the last two years (you will need to enter an amount from one of these returns)

Once you have this information you can register your account by signing in one of two ways; 1. Using the sign-in partner login. This option allows you to sign using your online banking. 2. Using the CRA login which you will create a login and password. You can access the main CRA login page by clicking here.

Once you have logged-in either through online banking access, or by creating a new sign-in, you will have immediate access to certain information. However, you will be mailed an access pin from CRA that will be required to unlock and view all your information.
