A Few Current Thoughts

When discussing various topics with my in-laws I tend to use the saying, "There are a lot of moving parts". To me it makes sense, to them they just make fun of me and named our family group chat 'Moving Parts'.

However, it is hard to look at the markets today and not think there are a lot of moving parts. Here are just a few:

Rising interest rates, inflation, speculation, reddit, GameStop, oil prices, nasdaq rise, nasdaq sell off, cryptocurrency, Covid.....the list goes on.

These are all influencing and shaping the short term moves of the market, yet most are just noise.

The important moving parts and the ones you can control are:

Long term mindset, patience, calm temperament, and being optimistic. Control these moving parts and you have solved 90% of the problem.

Happy Wednesday!
