A Few Current Thoughts

The world continues to change fast.

Currently in the stock market, there are several themes and trends that can be difficult to keep up with.

However, when it comes too investing, it is not always about what is changing and how fast. A lot of times, what isn't changing or being disrupted can be just as powerful of an investment theme.

Two weeks ago CN Rail announced a 7% dividend increase, the 25th consecutive increase.

The first working railway steam locomotive was built in 1804. That is a 216 year old invention that is just as important today.

For the most part investing should be boring. What isn't changing can be just as powerful as what is.

Happy Wednesday!
